Flat rice noodles, known as "pho" in Southeast Asia, are a staple food enjoyed widely across the region. Before the development of the KR1 Instant Rice Noodle Production Line by Kennyway, all instant rice noodle production processes were intermittent. The primary challenge lay in the aging stage of production. Traditional aging methods required manual intervention, where rice noodles were transported into aging rooms using hand carts, severely hindering the continuity and automation of the production process.
In 1995, Mr. Cen Junjian, the founder of Kennyway, accepted an invitation from the Chairman of the Vietnam Food Industry Company (VIFON). He led Kennyway's technical team to successfully develop the world's first low-temperature automatic aging machine, which achieved continuous production of instant rice noodles. Following the introduction of five KR1 production lines from Kennyway, VIFON became one of the world's largest producers of instant flat rice noodles.
In May 2002, VIFON honored Mr. Cen Junjian with a certificate and a gold medal in Ho Chi Minh City, recognizing his significant contributions to the company. To date, VIFON has procured over a dozen KR1 production lines from KENNYWAY.
This is a successful case of cross-border collaboration between two outstanding companies, and we look forward to developing and innovating with other clients as well!
